Some words about my Stella Guitar.
I have had this guitar since early 1970's from my grandfather. As a kid I remember
that I could not play it because of its big size. Stella guitars used to have 3 size models concert or standard (smallest), grand concert (medium) and auditorium or jumbo (largest).
My guitar is an auditorium model the largest size (much bigger than regular acoustic guitars) made around late 1920's.
Despite this guitar is an acoustic type I received it as a classical type with classic tuners (3 on a plate slotted peghead machines)
and nylon strings and a classical type bridge too.
Last year 2002, and after searching information about how to bring it back to its original status I contacted a good luthier he made a new ebony pin bridge,
replaced old frets with new jumbo frets, took off old classical tuners and put new Schaller 3 on a plate slotted peghead tuners for acoustic guitar and of course a new pack of strings.
He also made some repair work so I have a brand new guitar.
Since then every time I play my guitar I can not believe its easy play and great sound it has.
I have put some photos before and after the repair so you could see the changes of my Stella guitar.
